Songs of Courage – When’s the right time?

It has been many years since I last shared my music in public. Today I am excited to share a song that I just wrote. It is inspired by John Maxwell, Brené Brown and my own experience. Enjoy!

The lyrics:

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a song about courage:

Tell me, when’s the right time, to ask for what I need?
I’ve been looking for the right time, to say what I need to say.

You will do it never, if you don’t do it now.
I’m sure this rough moment is here for you to grow.
I will do it never, if I don’t do it now.
I’m sure this rough moment is here for me to grow.

Tell me, when’s the right time, to look at my worries?
I’ve been looking for the right time, to own my stories.

You will do it never, if you don’t do it now.
I’m sure this rough moment is here for you to grow.
I will do it never, if I don’t do it now.
I’m sure this rough moment is here for me to grow.

Tell me, when’s the right time, to say what’s ok and what’s not?
I’ve been looking for the right time, to reach out for support.

You will do it never, if you don’t do it now.
I’m sure this rough moment is here for you to grow.

    1. Thanks so much for your encouragement Cynthia 🙂 It took a lot of courage to post that. I am always happy about the schedule option in WordPress so that it doesn’t go online immediately.
