Das kommt vor. Ein Projekt das uns mal so richtig interessiert hat und auch richtig wichtig für uns ist, geht nicht mehr von der Hand. Setting goals is a pretty fun activity, it is all about possibility and dreams. Achieving our goals, however, can be tough, especially when we lose sight of progress. If we reach for great goals, there will be obstacles that we need to overcome. And there is one big mental trap that we can run into that can keep us from believing in and reaching for our goals. I don’t know why this is so deeply embedded into our culture, but we take pride in achieving things our own. The self-made-man is such a big myth we are told about every day, that we actually do believe it. We think we need to do everything on our own. Wie können wir gemeinsam besser leben?

In unserer Kultur sind wir darauf gepolt erst mal das Negative zu sehen. Wir kritisieren die „dummen Anderen“ oder wir machen uns selbst klein, weil wir unseren perfekten Ansprüchen nicht genügen. Damit kommen wir nicht mehr weiter. Die Herausforderungen unserer Zeit, vor denen wir als Einzelne und als Gesellschaft stehen, brauchen ein anderes kooperatives Vorgehen.
