Often we postpone joy and enjoyment for later, we first want to achieve something. The thing is, joy can only be experienced in a moment that is the present moment. We need to make it a priority to really feel a moment.
For me it used to be hard to get up in the morning. I used to start my day with working on some of my goals or preparing for work, or doing some boring exercise routine. Then through a couple of circumstances, I decided to start the day with joy. Now I prepare a delicious breakfast and put on my favorite music and dance.
It changed my life to the better. I remind myself, that joy is the most important and that it can only be experienced in the present, that is why I start with joy.
Also dancing gets my body moving. And exercise is sooo important for happiness.
