Strategy #1: Get a quick win
The first thing in accomplishing any big goal is getting into motion. And the best way to do this is to start with the EASIEST task. Why? You get a quick win and that makes you want to move forward. Once we are in motion everything else looks easier.
Strategy #2: Celebrate your wins
Celebrating our wins triggers our brains reward system which helps us keep pushing. Wins give us dopamine, but only if we stop to notice, appreciate and celebrate. It is especially important, to celebrate all the small wins along the way.
Strategy #3: Join People Who Are Already Doing What You Want To Do
When others around you are already doing what you are doing, it is easier to believe that it is actually possible. Who are the people who already do what you want to do? How can you reach out to them? Do they have a community where they meet that you could join?
